This is a goose I shot who decided to honk while passing close by with his mate. It was probably him warning me not to move.

They’re Back!

The geese are back and I’m spotting them just about everywhere! This flock was found just across from my house in the morning when I was leaving for work. I just had to take a few shots. Note to self: Now that I’m shooting full-frame, I’m feeling the need for some telephoto like 135mm or 200mm. Hmm…

I know I haven’t posted in a while and it has been haunting me that I’ve left this blog in the dust for a while ever since my vacation. There’s been so much going on in life outside my photography, but I’m still going to keep posting. This photo was done downtown Toronto on Front St looking west at night. This odd shaped building just screamed to be shot in black & white and I made sure there were a full range of tones from white to black. Enjoy and look forward to more posts.

GTR’d

Every now and then at the shop, we get a few very cool cars that come in to have some work done, and today was one of those days. This afternoon we received some rims and tires for a Nissan GT-R. Godzilla himself sent in his old shoes so we can fit new ones. 285/35R20. That’s a lot of rubber and a tremendous amount of grip… No wonder this car can corner so well.

Fish are amazing creatures. They can literally be considered creatures from the age of the dinosaurs and they come in so many forms and species. This is one of the gold fish we have at home showing off it’s long tail and fins. Beauty at its best.
