My kitchen stove. Have you ever photographed your kitchen? I guarantee it is one of the most interesting interior spaces you have constant access to. Being the room of the house most used than any other, there is bound to be interesting compositions in your kitchen. Happy Wednesday everyone.

5D MKII Has Arrived!
I’m totally ecstatic, thrilled, and amazed! I just received my Canon EOS 5D Mark II today from the post office!
My Rebel has served me so well the past years and I’m still impressed at the images I can achieve with a “consumer-level” DSLR. Unfortunately it does have it’s limitations and I finally decided to make the jump to a full-frame camera body, which is my new 5D MKII. It is bigger and better in every way than my old Rebel XT, and I’m amazed at not only the image quality, but the ease of use. I only had to flip through the manual once, and in minutes I had it set up just the way I like it. I can’t wait to take this new body on my next shoot and don’t worry, I won’t let my Rebel XT gather dust. It’s still a good camera in many ways.
I was so excited to unpack and unbox the 5D MKII from all the shipping materials, that I snapped a few shots of the process with my EOS Rebel XT that is now my secondary body.
High Park Stroll
I took this photo in the Fall this year in High Park, which is in the west side of Toronto. These two ladies in similar outfits were avid squirrel feeders and I captured them walking towards the pond near the park on a day that started gloomy but turned out to be absolutely beautiful.
